Production of website copy for a timber industry leader.

NFP Europe are suppliers of softwood timber products and services across the UK and Ireland.

The company was founded in 2005 by Michael Stubbs, and is based in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.

The Project

Following a word of mouth referral, Michael got in contact with me to discuss his website which had been in “holding page limbo” for a long time. He really needed content to supplement the design and reflect the NFP Europe brand.

After meeting and going over the requirements, I proposed the necessary pages for the website and began the content planning process.

The Challenge

The timber product market is very niche, and so the biggest challenge of this project was determining the right tone of voice for the target audience groups of architects, specifiers and homeowner customers.

It was important to ensure that each audience type was being spoken to using the right vocabulary to avoid industry jargon, but also that the benefits of using NFP Europe’s products and services were tailored accordingly.
